Bradford Beck is the river that runs underneath Bradford city centre. I have been working with the Friends of Bradford’s Becks, to produce a series of carved stone plaques that mark the route of the culverted beck underneath the city streets. There are fifteen plaques in total, including one cast in bronze. Each plaque contains the line of a poem by Jane Callaghan, which reads sequentially following the route of the beck. The fish and arrow motif show the direction of flow.
